ESTIMATING WORKFLOW

Our 4-Step Estimating Process

Click on any phase below to explore how we take your project from issued drawings to a priced bill of quantities.

PHASE 01 • REVIEW & VERIFICATION

Reviewing Your Drawings

Before a single item is counted, we read the drawing set and the electrical specification together, verify the scale on every sheet, and record the revision of each drawing. Anything missing or contradictory comes back to you as a written RFI list rather than a silent assumption.

  • Drawing register with revisions recorded
  • Specification cross-read for brands and ratings
  • RFI list issued for design gaps

IN-HOUSE CAPABILITY

What Our Estimating Team Handles

Digitised takeoff

On-screen measurement in Planswift 9.0 with the scale verified against a known dimension on every sheet before counting starts.

Specification analysis

Drawings read alongside the written specification so specified brands, cable types and testing obligations are caught before pricing.

Rate build-ups

Material and labour built up item by item against your own supplier pricing and labour constants, not generic industry averages.

RFI and assumption registers

Design gaps raised as formal RFIs, and anything priced on judgement recorded as a clearly marked written assumption.

Revision management

When drawings are reissued we produce a delta count showing exactly what was added, removed or changed against the previous revision.

AutoCAD drafting

Electrical layouts, single line diagrams, panel schedules and as-built record sets drawn to your own title block and layer standard.
