The things contractors usually want settled before sending us a first set of drawings.
Most standard residential and commercial projects come back within two working days. Larger or more complex schemes such as hospitals and multi-storey apartment blocks usually take three to five working days. If your tender date is tighter than that, tell us up front and we will confirm honestly whether we can meet it.
The electrical drawings in PDF or DWG, the specification if one exists, and your tender date. If you want the estimate priced rather than just measured, we also need your supplier rates and labour constants. Send what you have and we will tell you what is missing before starting.
We do not guess. Gaps and contradictions come back to you as a written RFI list. Where a gap is too small to hold up the whole bid, we price it on engineering judgement and record it in a clearly marked assumptions register, so you can see every judgement we made.
Our estimators work to AS/NZS, BS, NEC and other relevant standards, and we price to whichever one your project is designed against. Tell us the governing standard when you send the drawings and the takeoff will follow it.
Yes. Drawings, rates and tender data are never shared between clients, and your pricing is never reused on another bid. We are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement before anything reaches us.
An organised, formula-driven Excel workbook with live rates you can adjust, a colour-marked PDF set showing exactly what was counted, and native DWG files where drafting is part of the scope. Nothing is locked.
That is our default. Generic industry averages produce a number you cannot defend, so we build every rate against the pricing your business actually buys at, agreed with you before any pricing begins.
Yes. When drawings are reissued mid-tender we produce a delta count showing precisely what was added, removed or changed against the previous revision, so you can adjust the bid without re-measuring the whole project.
Send us your drawings or just a description of the scope. Our estimating team will come back with an itemised quotation and a realistic delivery date.
